Today, over a third of Brits own a smartphone, enabling more people to spend more time online.
Unsurprisingly, the meteoric rise of the smartphone has led to a shift in consumer behaviour in terms of how they research and purchase certain products.
More than half of smartphone owners use their devices to carry out product research in retail stores, [1] while 62% have made an actual purchase on their handset within the last 6 months [2].
